Depositing and withdrawing money from online gaming websites
Depending on where you live, depositing to an online gaming site can be as easy as using your credit card, with your deposit processed instantly. This won’t work for everyone, however, as credit card companies block cardholders in some countries form using their cards at online gaming sites.
Don’t despair, though, as most sites offer a wide variety of methods to deposit money. Choices to deposit money include wire transfers and bank drafts, as well as online wallet services such as Neteller, Firepay, Click2Pay, ePassporte, and Moneybookers.
Deposits and withdrawals are almost always free of charge. If you use a credit card or online payment service, your deposit will instantly go through and be credited to your account, so you can immediately start flinging chips. Most sites process withdrawals in a day or two, with some online gaming sites processing withdrawals in a matter of hours!

Yes Tracy, it is getting more common to have those kinds of security checks in order to prevent credit card fraud.
