Carribean Stud, Carribean Stud Online & How To Play Carribean Stud

Caribbean Pirate Poker is CasinoRoom.com’s variation of Caribbean Stud Poker. It’s played against the house instead of other players and has a gigantic progressive jackpot, so you always have a chance of hitting a really big payout.

The Caribbean Pirate Poker rules straightforward and very similar to normal poker rules. The object of the game is have a better five card poker hand than the dealer, or to gamble that the dealer does not have a hand good enough to qualify; to qualify, the dealer’s hand must have a pair or a combination of an ace and a king.

The game begins with each player placing an initial bet. All players and the dealer are dealt five cards face down, and one of the dealer’s card is exposed face up. After looking at their cards, players must then decide whether to fold or to raise. If a player folds, the hand ends. If they have a good hand and want to continue, they must raise, which means doubling their initial bet.

The cards are then revealed, and the player wins if his hand beats the dealer. The player also may win if the dealer doesn’t have a good enough to qualify, too. Based on the strength of the players hand, the payouts are higher for certain hands, with a winning two pair hand paying 2-1 on the player’s bet, a straight 4-1, and so forth, based on the payout table. Players can also compete for the special progressive jackpot by placing an extra bet on the side before the hand starts.

If you’re ready to shiver CasinoRoom.com’s timbers, give Caribbean Pirate Poker a whirl and see if you can beat the house!
